Peter and Salome Comley
Authors

Peter and Salome have lived and run their own safari company in Botswana since the mid-eighties. They have led an astonishing variety of safaris, expeditions and explorations around African in search of the continent’s amazing and fascinating array of wildlife. Their hunger to know and learn more about these creatures have led them to destinations as diverse as the remotest areas of the Namib desert, the Virunga mountains in the Congo, Uganda and Rwanda, the top of Kilimanjaro and to places where ten-year old children flee in terror because they had never seen a European before.

Drawing on this experience and in their quest to share their wonderment and awe of the incredible diversity of animals and places with others, they have written three popular travel and field guide books, which are currently being translated into German and Afrikaans.

Peter is an award winning poet and both are keen photographers with a wide number of published images.

They live in Botswana at the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers with their 11 year old daughter, Skye, her two horses, four dogs and cat.

They are currently working on their next book.
